Miami Bridge is utilized by the community as the axis point of all Miami-Dade County efforts in dealing with kids in crisis who are runaways, truant, homeless or having issues at home. In Miami-Dade County, we are the only emergency home serving kids ages 10 to 17. At the Bridge, we provide a full range of services, including in-shelter counseling, field trips, in-home counseling and reunification with family.

98% of youth successfully reunited with their families.

Housing one of the most important and impactful programs in the state of Florida, this facility plays an important part of restoring the lives of the youth who enter it. Our goal is to create a comfortable, safe and welcoming space for children who have experienced life-altering trauma at such a young age. The environment in which an adolescent’s counseling, group therapy, and personal development plays an significant role in their healing journey.

LSF’s program has long been revered as a bellwether for teen recovery, however after 40 years, the building is in need of critical repair and renovation from landscaping to lamps. We need your help to make this facility as exemplary as the program and people it houses. The Building Hope Campaign is designed to create change today, while serving as the foundation for a brighter future.
